Subject: Battlegrounds are *not* guild friendly.
When Cay said that the game would create a seperate battleground instance for your guild if you so chose, I was thrilled. I couldn't wait to see my guild go up against the rival alliance guilds. It'd be awesome.

But no, this feature is *not* in the game. It can take *hours* for you to get your whole guild in one battleground if you all choose to go to the same server. If you choose to have it select the next available, does it try to put you all in the same one? NOPE! It divides you all up and sticks you randomly in different battlegrounds.

I'm *really* dissapointed in this.

What you are seeing is not only the first iteration of Battlegrounds, but the first iteration of Battlegrounds during a testing phase, Corrient. This is a major game mechanic which we plan to evolve overtime in a number of ways, most of which haven't been announced. Players can expect many improvements to Battlegrounds over the lifespan of World of Warcraft.

Q u o t e:
people are complaining about the fact that they release "new content" with just one option. how about trying something completily new and .....adding more than one feature on release?. look at the meeting stone; released with ONE feature, do ppl use them? no. what answer did we get when we asked "so..... is something going to happen with the stones?" the answer given was

and im not joking, they gave the exact same answer. have they done anything? no. what are they doing? releasing more and more content w/o looking and the troubles of the old. this is the problem

That was never a written response concerning meeting stones, Sisika. What you're doing is attempting to mislead the community by discrediting my reply, which will under no circumstance be tolerated. My message was written out, and sincere. I've not cut and pasted an answer even once during my time here as a Community Manager, unless I was mirroring a message posted on another forum.

Since we're on the topic of Meeting stones, they are in there first iteration as well. However, improvements are underway. One of which I know will allow for players to access them from major cities as well as their current locations. As far as Battlegrounds is concerned, we have much in-store, including the functionality many of you are describing in this thread. As of right now, the system is only in its testing phase, on the test realm.

In any case, Sisika, you will not be warned again.

Eyo. Enquiring minds want to know what was tested in the 6+ months of internal testing. Why was't guild warfare already in testing?

Please copy your character over to the test realm and see for yourself what we've done with Battlegrounds, Fell. I'm sorry if you're disapointed thus far, however, I've had a blast and as a matter of fact, Warsong Gulch will probably be the first thing I do when I get home today.
