I have had this game for 5 months now and my brother and I use my account for 2 seperate characters simply because my brother didn't have a pc of his own at the time. He has currently bought a pc for school and to play WoW!
So I call Blizzard support line to ask if I could get his character transfered from my account to his new account that he will be creating since he has invested so much time into it and so that we can play at the same time, obviously under two different accounts now.
They immidiately say no, it's not possible and they have no ETA as to when it will be come available and will be posted on the forums when it does become available.
WHY is this not possible. All of the charatcers are on a server!! It's a SIMPLE file transfer?? Why am I paying money to play this game and I'm sure Blizzard is making a lucratice market out of it and can't even get a simple task done??? He will be a paying customer (although I'm not so sure now and I don't know if I will continue due to this).
This is very frustrating seeing as I am a paying customer asking a simple task of a company that can code a game and cannot even do a simple file transfer. Very discouraging.
What does Blizzard plan on doing about this as I am sure that I am not the 1st to ask. Could I please have a rsponse other than a typical call center response that I received from Laura, "it's not possible right now", to me that is NOT an acceptable explanation. An ETA would be nice too.

Miradoc, it is not a matter of ability, but one of both manpower and policy. The chance for abuse with such a system is quite high, as it encourages character trading and powerlevelling services, etc. This is not something we condone and certainly not something we wish to help support.
We have no plans to offer a service that transfers characters between accounts at this time.
