Subject: 100% evidence that I can frame people.
   Launch WoW. Copy and paste this command:

/script ChatFrame2:AddMessage("Someperson crits Some Creature for 432.",1,1,1);

Replacing Someperson and Some Creature with the creature Someperson just killed and the name of Someperson. Spam this about 10 times changing the damage slightly. Take a screenshot of them when they loot it's corpse. You are winner!

I'm not saying the crit hack thread's screenshots are modified. My point is that it is possible to do anything you want with the WoW scripting engine to your UI. This includes generating fake messages, altering what someone's hitpoints appear to be, what buffs they appear to have, etc. Please stop making threads that are "proof" of a hack or other such thing. Report them to GMs who can check logs and verify them themselves. Threads do nothing but cause rumors and allow us to falsely frame other players.

Oh, and:

/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage("Someperson rolls 100 (1-100)",1,1,0);

Spam that 10 times and take a screenshot. OMG ROLLHACK.

^.^

   I'm in agreement with Zlixar on this issue, it is easy to make it appear as though a player has abused. We would appreciate it if all reports of suspected abuse were emailed to wowgm@blizzard.com or reported using the in-game petitioning system. We can investigate the situation properly and take the appropriate action, if any needs to be taken.

Q u o t e:
does that mean that blizz isnt even investigating the logs to prove that someone is or is not cheating or. throw us a freakin bone, it was a documented bug in beta, and others have admitted to having friends use it to help them in instances. at least tell us someones looking at the logs thats all we are asking

As stated in my last reply, we have means to properly investigate reports of abuse.
