Subject: FYI: No communication right now is very bad
Attention Blizzard people who no doubt won't read this anyway:

You have literally several thousand people who are sitting at their computers right now waiting for their realm to come up. Some have been waiting for almost 12 hours. Many are unhappy with the fact that they can't play.

Silence is the worst possible thing you can do right now.

***Please pay close attention, as I am going to walk you through what should be your patch day routine from now on.***

You have more than 1 community manager for a reason. No doubt there are at least 2 on shift right now. One of them needs to be collecting info on server status, and bringing that info to the 2nd who needs to be posting said info here.

Give the info in the absolute most technical terms possible, and then translate it in layman right below. Do this every 15 minutes during a increasingly detrimental situation like the one presently going on.

Please understand that no communication at all when your servers have been down an entire day is *NOT* acceptable.

Now go ahead and get that info, there are a lot of people waiting on it.

Edit: Edited the word "crisis" to be more politically correct. *grin*
