I recently purchased a brain hacker (850g in the AH) to replace Lord Alexander Axe (+16 stam, +17 agility, +16 strength) with the intent of using the proc on casters.
However, much to my dismay, the Brain Hacker does not reduce intellect by 25 as mentioned, but increases it by 25. I brought this to the attention of the GM's two times - both returned with an identical response, i.e. No resolution.
I decided to wait it out and hopefully see the bug fixed in this upcoming patch. Needless to say, though horribly disappointed, nothing has been done. I now feel that I lost a lot of gold on obtaining an item that did not merit the price paid for it due to its buggy proc.
I requested my Epic to be replaced with another of similar level (I could give them back the axe somehow) but that request did not receive any acommodation.
I want a blue to respond to this please. Will this bug be fixed in the forseeable future, or is it unreasonable for me to request you to exchange another epic with the one I carry?
