Ok heres my question, a friend of mine has gotten banned from WoW for swearing to another player. This game does have a profanity filter it is rated Teen.
Blizzard I think went overboard on this banning ppl for swearing then they built in a profanity Filter for that reason.
Same with swearing on the boards they lock the threads which have swearing andf say no "Please don't use Profanity in your posts" These boards also have a Profanity Filter for the reason if we do swear it blocks it out.
Blizzard don't be pussies and ban ppl for !&$%ing swearing when YOU put the filters there for a REASON

The profanity filter is in place as an added precaution, not an excuse to use profanity. If you use profanity here or in game, you will be punished according to the rules you agreed to when you created an account with this game.
