Subject: Mage Vs Downtime |

My mage is only lvl 19, however im currently killing lvl 12's (for some reason its a lvl 18 quest), and im still getting 10-40 second downtimes inbetween battles and thats with drinking. Im curious, but are mages like this all the way through.

What percentage of your mana is being expended per kill when fighting level twelve mobs at your level? Also, what are you fighting, and what is your specific tactic to kill them, ie what spells are you using and in which order?

Unfortunately, you're at that awkward level where your current conjure water spell is a bit outdated, however, once you hit level twenty, a new version will be available which should help considerably. I'm not sure how much your weapon damage does, but I do recommend that you use it when the mob is at about 1/5 health (at least at your current level and in cases where the mob is two or more levels below your own). While you will take damage and the fight will be slightly extended, it's quicker to regen at half health and half mana, than full health and no mana. Also, doing this will give you a head start on mana regeneration. In any case, good luck!

You're not relying on an item, Brecon. You're relying on one of your class specific spells. Also, as has been stated before, improvements to spirit are underway, and for the Mage, the new spell "Mage Armor" should cut downtime by at the very least, a noticeable degree.

You and Cay and the rest of this team NEED to be fired.. pity that blizzard is so desperate for warm bodies that they have not yet replaced the incompetent group with trained chimps yet. Oddly none of you realize just how precarious your positions are and continue to just do a worse job on a daily basis.
I suggest you ALL get in touch with a certain Lila Yee who used to play games like this on the Turbine game AC2.. she is no longer employed within the industry.. Perhaps a less customer service oriented job like burger flipper would fit your skill sets better?
