Subject: Why didn't Blizzard anticipate server xfers?
I don't understand why Blizzard was caught so off-guard by people's desire to transfer characters to another realm. Sony charges $75 for this option and I know people who have transferred two or three times. It's something people really want to be able to do for various reasons. I just don't see why this wasn't something available much sooner and without these pre-set restrictions, like only server A can transfer to server B.

I find Blizzard's execution of this system extremely sloppy and I'm disappointed.

On an unrelated note, I don't know what the "hardware replacement" was, but the lag is still ever-present on Doomhammer.

Again, this particular realm transfer system at this time is primarily to alleviate load on populated realms. We are taking it slowly and cautiously. We may open up more options in the future, but this particular iteration is to help manage realm load.
