Snakes, the cobra version:
If people already have snakes, why take them away? I know it wasn't intended to have them in, but honestly they aren't overpowered or anything like that. They are cousins of the other Wind Serpent family, the ones who fly. So why is this different? That would be like taking away the Frostsabers even though they are in the same family as other cats like lets say Mountain Lions.
I do remember someone saying that they may add them in a future patch, but honestly why would later be better than now? All it is doing is saying, we are taking it away now but we may give it back if you wait long enough! I doubt they would beef it up, give some thought into what to give the pet. All they would do is simply just re-enable the taming flag on it. Can some blue clarify my answers?

Adding something slapdash like that will cause more problems in the long run than if it is carefully added in. We do not want to push the patch back any more than it already has been.
