I was reading that the cat DPS increase is only 2 DPS. I find this very disapointing. I hope this isnt right, and that the increase is more in the range of 20. If it is 2, how is this the answer to cat form DPS?

There are other improvements being worked on primarily involving the Feral Combat tree. I cannot speak further as to the effectiveness of the changes going in this patch, besides the obligatory "Please wait until the patch is in effect before judging the change".
