No one is assigned to moderate any one forum...

...but I am the person currently heading up Hunter issues internally.

I posted yesterday; if you read the stickies, I solicited feedback from the community on what the biggest issues are for the class.

Once I compile the pages upon pages of feedback given, I will schedule time with the developers to sit down and discuss the Hunter issues from the player's perspective. In turn, I will receive the whys and wherefores of how the class operates, and should get some idea of what is coming up for Hunters.

I will then bring that back to you.

We have done this with several classes so far and it's gone quite well. I suggest you be patient.

Q u o t e:
I am sorry cay but you were supposed to give us feedback not the other way around.

do you remember FYI post you've made?

Don't take it personally but we were expecting just a little too much perhaps...

boomix

What precisely are you referring to, Boomix? And this is an honest question -- I'm not sure what you're asking of me, here.

You want to know what's going on with the class, am I correct? You wish your questions answered and your issues addressed, yes?

This method we're employing helps us do that while still being able to perform the rest of our duties and allowing the developers to let us know everything in one meeting, rather than an inefficient 10 minute call every 5 minutes while they're working on patches. ;)

So my question to you is this: what are you expecting, and what can I do to help you in this regard?

Q u o t e:
Hi Cay,

Lets play your game.

What am I referring to? Your post "FYI: We didn't forget about you." In that post have you not stated that you will get back to us with info we have been screaming about?

You've asked for feedback instead. That is trully great, but to me that's nothing but smoke in our eyes for us to stop shouting. If anything comes out of the feedback. I will, I will eat my sandwich and be thankful.

I wrote this big post but instead I will just say this. Not you or any other blizz rep has come on these forums and have asnwered any of our concerns. No matter the class we play. When we asked for answers as hunters they were specific questions.

Why the nerf two times in a row?
Why was "not intended design" in the game in the first place? (speaking about warrior/paladin buffs)
Why have our pets not been fixed (perma frost) when you decided to remove reistances?

And last but not least (this is what whole community is wondering). Who is running your game design team? Because you are finding awful lot of "not intended design" fixes.

boomix

Boomix, just out of curiosity, have you read the result of the Druid solicitation I did before? This is how I get the answers for the classes. It is more efficient for me to compile Hunter concerns when they are in one place as opposed to spending hours scouring the forum. That is why I made a consolidated feedback thread.

It is not "smoke". It is the first step in a process that will result in me coming back to you with more information regarding the designer's view on Hunters on what's coming up. It has happened with Druids in the past and it will occur with Hunters. Wait and see.

Ok Cay, then what about the priest forums. This message was left to us on 2/14

Hello everyone!

I just want you all to know that I have not forgotten about the feedback you provided me. As soon as I can I will be making another post about what I heard back from the development team.

Thank you for your continued patience!

-Fangtooth

And there has been zero posts on the priest forum since then. Its been over a month now and nothing. Who is responsible for that forum?

I don't understand. Nothing posted outside of the feedback thread will get noticed? Not everyone can read the forum every single day. It was open for little more than a day. I'm looking over it now and so far I do not see anything detailing my biggest issue with the class.

Furthermore, how are we supposed to give feedback when the biggest complaint is the upcoming patch, which extremely few have experienced? I haven't a clue how exactly the new patch will play out, and is there any chance at all of this feedback affecting something actually in the patch? I'd assume not.

No, more will get noticed, but the Feedback thread is the beginning. This was mainly focused around the issues Hunters have seen thus far.
