Subject: Why are the RP-PVP supporters being ignored?
I know some people feel the very concept of RP-PVP is stupid, or that it will cause the GMs to waste far too much effort answering pointless tickets about how some ganker is "spoiling their experience". You, all of you, are not the people I'm talking to.

The question is not if people want these servers. The 1100+ posts (enough that they can't all be displayed) in the following thread should be enough proof that they are wanted:
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.aspx?FN=wow-general&T=1552375&P=1

The question is also not whether RP-PVP servers are planned for the near future. We've already heard that "No new rulesets are planned at this time."

The question is (well, "The questions are"):
1. Why has Blizzard not created an RP-PVP server? Is it too time consuming? (Doesn't seem like it should be.) Don't you think there is demand? (I think I already showed that.) Do you just have a vendetta against us?
2. Why has Blizzard not answered this question before? It's been asked many times in the thread I pointed out earlier, and also in at least one separate thread.

Don't get me wrong, Blizzard's a great company, and in many places they have been excellent, but why are we getting ignored?

   1) Despite what some may think, an RP-PvP realm ruleset would be very intensive for support, and we prefer to support the three rulesets we have now to the best of our ability instead of adding a fourth and making everyone suffer. We're aware of the demand, yes, but we do not feel this would be a prudent move at this time.

2) I have indeed answered this before now.

Many do question the whole support aspect, so I'd like to clear that up a bit.

Ticket load is increased on a PvP realm. People make more cases for harassment, etc., by the nature of the ruleset there.

Ticket load is increased on a RP realm. There are more name reports and "verbal harassment" cases by the nature of the ruleset there.

Combine the two, and you have an even heavier ticket load for one particular realm. This then takes attention away from other realms that may need it.

As such, the support aspect is a serious factor and one that must be taken into consideration when a new ruleset is proposed.

Q u o t e:
So, let me get this straight...

More tickets = double the support time? I very much doubt that. (Unless you're implying that that's ALL the GMs do.)

Apologies for using the word "doubly" -- it was used to signify that PvP realms have certain ticket types central to that ruleset, as do RP realms, and combining the two will bring both under one realm, thus causing more of a ticket load.
