Actually, we had the maintenance scheduled for 4AM originally in order to impact the least amount of players. However, there were the same issues tonight that had occurred the previous nights. Because of this the decision was made to move up the maintenance and fix things now as opposed to letting the realms suffer through the night.
I do sincerely apologize for the downtime tonight; it's never fun to have your play realm down on a weekend during prime time (believe me, I know). The changes that were made should benefit the realm stability as a whole.
EDIT: the actual maintenance was posted in the Realm Status forum prior to the problems tonight; unfortunately the post itself was deleted. :|[ post edited by Caydiem ]
