Subject: 03/04 New realms this week |

We have scheduled 7 new realms for opening this week, whereof three English realms. We don't have an exact opening time yet, but the realms will not be open prior to the maintenance on Wednesday.
These are the realms scheduled for this week:
English
Eonar (PvE / Normal)
Vek'nilash (PvP)
Ravenholdt (RP PvP)
French
Arathi (PvP)
German
Die Nachtwache (RP)
Vek'lor (PvP)
Der abyssische Rat (RP PvP)

All fresh realms. No migration planned for these.

Lower than the regular cap. It will increase over time to have the same cap as other realms.
And if we see any new realm completely flooded, we'll of course open more of the type. We want to see that population first though, not open a bunch of realms and spread people out too much.

Update 04/04
The below realms are currently scheduled to be opened Wednesday April 5th in the afternoon / evening.

I dont know why Blizzard plan open another Rp-PvP realm (all 3 that opened before now have only low pop in prime time, and last opened very little time ago) but that they choice.
We, russian community, be much more happy if can choice 1 of 2 new realms on our russian server (and give another one to english community) but Blizzard not give us the chance. Ok.
If no more realms be added in close future or Ravenholdt not be changed to PvP we get the Vek'nilash (PvP) realm under russian community control like Warsong (PvP) realm be taken.

We have no plans of flagging realms as any other languages than those the game is available in; English, French, German and (later) Spanish. English realms are intended for the whole of Europe, not specific countries, and we do not recognize any English realm as belonging to one nationality or language.
And I will say again that if the new PvP realm turns out to be extremely flooded right away we will of course open another one very quickly. Note that the realms will open with lower cap than the regular one though, so a queue doesn't automatically mean there will be a new realm the next day. ;)

Due to the preparations needed for the new realms we are now planning to open them tomorrow, Thursday April 6th. We realize players are very eager to start playing on these new realms and would like to assure you that all best efforts are being made to open them as soon as possible.
