We are happy to announce that a new Spanish version of World of Warcraft will be released. As with the existing German and French versions, the game will be localized by the Blizzard in-house localization team. The Spanish version of the game will be released and hosted in Europe and supported by a dedicated Spanish-speaking team based at the Blizzard Europe offices.
"We look forward to offering Spanish-speaking players in Europe a version of World of Warcraft tailored specifically for them," said Mike Morhaime, president and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. "The enthusiasm for the game here has been overwhelming, and we're pleased that this new localized version will make World of Warcraft accessible to an even wider audience."

Q u o t e: Over 500 million speakers... and that doesn't even include Spanish as second language. I've been wondering how could you be setting aside such a large market for months
Please keep in mind that it takes a lot more than people speaking the language to create an MMO market. ;)
That there is one damn fine epic you're wearin'.
