What - Why - When

Tooltip mixup alert. Vaneras sounds the alarm(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general-en&t=844627) after it was found that the current tooltip for the 'Dodge' ability incorrectly states it works against both melee and ranged attacks, when it only works against melee. The tooltip is being corrected in Patch 1.10. Please note that this is not a nerf, buff or fix to any game mechanics, it has always worked this way, but the tooltip was incorrectly labeled.

The competitions are underway. Bad news(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general-en&t=844629) for the artists though, as it seems the webform used to send them was malfunctioning. Although it has been fixed, all entries submitted prior to February the 15th should be sent again. The 4th pick up line contest has begun, out of 5, so get your cheesay lines out!

The FAQ(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general-en&t=192967) has been updated by Thundy. Most noticeable are the answers for two popular issues recently: New realms? and Contests in my country?

Q: Are you planning on opening any new realms very soon?
A:
Unless there's a sticky thread about it in the General forum or news about it on the website; no.

Q: Why can't players from all countries participate in your contests?
A:
Unfortunately there are restrictions outside our control that apply to contests of this kind, and we as well as our sponsors have to abide by the laws and regulations of the different countries in Europe. Some restrictions apply due to the value of the prizes, some due to the nature of the contest - wherein the definition of "game of chance" is a tricky one. We do our best to work with (or around) this and adapt our contests to the different regulations, but we will not gamble with the law and must therefore exclude some countries from our contests. We will continue to adapt our contests, gather additional information and look into the fine details of national lottery and contest laws to try include as many countries as possible in the future.

My bag has a -300 Ton spell on it

Bags are an important part of adventuring. The bigger, the better. How often have you had to get rid of a good item for one only slightly better, or even worse, got rid of one that you thought was worthless, but wasn't? I know it's happened a few times to me. Well, help is at hand for a few causes of limited bag space.

First, we have the Soulshard Bags(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-warlock-en&t=158777). These beauties can hold up to 28 soul shards, so it's a great help for warlocks. Blizzard are planning to release bags with bonuses later on, as well as a more permanent solution for shard problems in general.

And we also have Profession Bags(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-tradeskills-en&t=38358) scheduled for 1.10 available in two delicious flavors: Hungry Herb and Enduring Enchant. The first holds herbalism supplies and the second contains, guess what, enchanting supplies. Various sizes are available up to a maximum of 24 slots.

These bags can only hold what they are designed to hold, e.g soul shards, herbs etc. All these bags will be tailor made, so look out for the recipes soon available at crazy prices on the AH :)
