Subject: Why is blizzards downloader so pants?
Why does blizzard insist on using this stupid bit-torent type downloader.
1stly it takes AGES to download any patches, average of about 5-10k /sec, and 2ndly it steals 40k/sec of my upload speed, without asking me!

With all the cash they get from subscriptions, and all the technology at their disposal, I would have thought that blizzard could easily afford some very nice dedicated svr boxs that were soley used for downloading patches, instead of the rubbish they have now.

Being a developer myself, I can only assume that they have some coders who are trying to be too clever for their own good...it doesn't work. sort it.
