What - Why - When

Good news for players not playing on the same language realm as their client. Aeus goes on to explain(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general-en&t=811782) how currently each language client has it's own channel. For example, on an English realm, a player with the English client will use "General", while someone with the german client will use "Allgemein". The channel names will now be interpreted locally, so although the chat channels may have different names, they will still be the same. That means that no matter the client, you can still use the same public channels.

Vaneras brings more news(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general-en&t=819247) of increased realm performance. This time, a bottleneck in the infrastructure was resolved and upgraded. in other words, the following realms will now have improved(normal) performance: Neptulon, Twisting, Nether, Ragnaros, The Maelstrom, Sylvanas, Vashj, Bloodfeather, Darksorrow, Frostwhisper, Kor'gall, Defias Brotherhood, The Venture Co., Lightning's Blade, Haomarush, Khadgar, Bronzebeard, Kul Tiras, Chromaggus, Dentarg, Moonglade, Executus, Trollbane, Mazrigos, Talnivarr, Emeriss, Drak'thul and Ahn'Qiraj.

Migration Update

There is no migration currently planned. If there was, this post(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general-en&t=807302) would help. The staff are currently reviewing realm numbers to decide if and when migration will occur in February.

Watch this space!

The weather forecast for Northrend tomorrow is about -36 Azerothian Degrees during the morning. The temperature will continue to decrease throughout the day to a low point of -49AD in the afternoon, with minor scourge attacks around the low pressure system coming in from the west. Still here? You win a cookie flavored pie again.

So you want a casually obtained max-level class-specific 4-rare 4-epic set with soloable pieces reward from a quest line?

Ah, it seems Aeus has posted(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general-en&t=811767) something on the subject. Probably a 'no' again, poor casuals. *clicks* Wow!

In Patch 1.10 a new quest chain will be implemented for maximum level players for "really good" class-specific armor sets. But wait, this time it's for non-raiders(AKA Casuals, AKA Softcores, AKA Lazy) and some parts(An epic included) can be soloed!

In the same post, our little green friend reveals that some existing dungeons are being re-itemized and given new bosses. [EPIC] indeed.

Karazhan

Between Duskwood and the Swamp of Sorrows lies the desolate region of Deadwind Pass, where jagged, brooding spires of granite loom over petrified, lifeless forests. As its name suggests, it is a land devoid of life.
But it was not always so...

Karazhan, tower of Medivh(the last guardian), is set(http://www.wow-europe.com/en/burningcrusade/townhall/karazhan.html) to appear in the Burning Crusade as a level 70 raid instance. Expect your money's worth of brand new monsters, items, and fun as you battle through the cursed tower to solve the mysteries of Karazhan and challenge your teamwork.

Gadgetzan Times - Episode One

Warcraft Weekly's sister publication has been launched! Ignore the egoistic nonsense such as "most informative and entertaining magazine in all of Azerothian history" ;)
A purely RP publication with the most evil little creatures at the wheel: Gobbos! The GT will compliment the purely informative WW with a bit of ker-pazzle only possible with goblins.

Wether to weather the weather

One of the yummy goodies slated for Patch 1.10 is weather effects. These beauties will improve the quality of the environment with minimum impact on frame rate. Of course, if you want to be a spoil sport, there will be an option to turn it off.

We have two videos of these effects now in the open. Critique as you will, I think they're lookin' good :)
