Ok, so many of us have been collecting the Elder Coins for the festival thingy. Some of us have been collecting them as we've heard of the choice of epic trinkets as a reward for getting all 50. BUT there is a rumour that these rewards are a fake, made by someone with alot of spare time and a good hand at photoshop.

Another forum thread has also mentioned that one of the Elders in Burning Steppes is bugged, and dosnt send the red lucky envelope in the post afterwards, therefore not giving you credit for collecting that coin.
This was brought up on the forums, and a Blizz GM posted a simple '/fake'. Not much info at all, and no-one is sure what question he was answering.

I ticketed a GM in-game, to ask for simple clarification of whether or not there is a reward for all 50 coins. I got told that Blizz cannot discuss in-game mechanics, and were not able to comment on the possible fake reward, and the possibility that an Elder is bugged.
Personally I am disgusted at this. We pay good money for a service. We spend hours farming for some coins (yes they give nice rep, but surely there muct be something more worth-while), but we cant be told if the rewards even exist or not! If they do exist, we dont know if we can get them or not, due to one elder 'possibly' being bugged!
C'mon Blizz, we need some clarification on this. Don't leave us in the dark wondering if some epic trinkets are real or not.

Whether a quest or set of quests contains a reward or not, or what the reward might be, is considered spoiler information and thus not something we generally give out.
I can however say that I'm not aware of any bugs with the elder quests (except for maybe that lack of mail from one of them).
That there is one damn fine epic you're wearin'.
