Tuesday a new german PvP server came up, and I decided to roll there to do some low level pvp while waiting for a new english server.
Surprisingly, 3 hours after server start, while the highest level was 11, a lvl 60 rogue appeared. Rumours quickly spread, whether it was a GM, a cheater, or whatever it was.
It turned out to be a character who had migrated there, despite the german CM had said that there would be no migration. But not only he transfered there, another 60 shaman and a 51 hunter transfered to the new german PvP realm too.
Blizzard then said they couldn't help it, as they had already paid the money for the transfer.
I'd like to ask Blizzard if they can avoid a problem like this on the new english PvE realm coming up friday, as it kinda ruins the whole idea about having a new non-migration server.[ post edited by Zakka ]
Friendships come and go. Epics are soulbound.

Our intention is that you may not transfer to a realm that's not at least 3 months old. Anything else is a mistake and we'll do what we can to correct it.

I just received information that no transfers were done to Lightbringer during the few hours it was showing on the PCT page. We made sure to hold off the announcement of the new realm until it was removed from the PCT page, and it seems the uncertainty about whether the realm was real or not scared people from trying to sneak onto it. ;)
