Subject: Bugs regarding Mind Flay
Since the WoW-europe site doesn't seem to have a bug report forum(that I could find :P) I might as well post this in General :)

To begin with, MF is a 3 second cast, channeled shadow spell, while applied to the target it causes a 50% reduction in speed(to the target, the caster is, obviously, rooted in place).

Now according to the +dmg bonus calculation formulas MF should receive ~80% bonus from +dmg bonuses(3/3.5-0.05(the snare)).

However current calculations show that MF only receives a ~43% bonus from +dmg items(easy enough to test, jut target a grey mob, stick on 100+dmg and see how much more damage the spell does).

While this bonus is boosted by the +shadow damage talents in the shadow tree, so are the spells of other casters(mages/warlocks/shammys/druids), not to mention that those spells can also transform every crit % into an extra 1% of dmg.

Basically there is no other spell in this game that gets a reduction in scaling as arbitrary as Mind Flay, as such it stands to reason that MF's scaling is a bug that has not yet been brought to Blizz's attention.

Secondly, the tooltip to MF's debuff says that it reduces the target's speed, yet this debuff also appears on mobs immune to slowing effects. Either the debuff should NOT appear on raid mobs immune to it's effect OR the tooltip should be corrected to also specify the fact that it also deals damage to it's target.
