Subject: 15/06 World of Warcraft site downtime
At around 18:00 hours in the evening of June 11th one of the World of Warcraft sites started experiencing environmental issues which resulted in overheating of the hardware. These escalated while the problem was being located, and around 22:00 CEST the entire site had to be shut down to avoid extensive hardware damage. The issue was investigated further on-site by our partner Telia and was resolved the following morning. During the following hardware testing some equipment was found to have malfunctioned. After replacing this equipment and diligently testing all parts of the site the realms were brought back online at approximately 18:00 CEST.

Due to this interruption in game-play all players affected will have 2 days game time credited to their account. This additional game time will be added within the coming weeks.

We would like to apologise for this unexpected downtime and thank you for your patience and understanding.

The realms that were affected by this are the following:
  • Ahn'Qiraj
  • Bronzebeard
  • Chromaggus
  • Dentarg
  • Drak'thul
  • Emeriss
  • Executus
  • Hakkar
  • Khadgar
  • Kul Tiras
  • Mazrigos
  • Moonglade
  • Scarshield Legion
  • Steamwheedle Cartel
  • Talnivarr
  • Trollbane
  • Xavius
Only a dwarf would bring a beer to war!
