Subject: 18/05 -- Account suspensions
   We recently permanently suspended a number of players' accounts whose in-game conduct did not comply with our EULA.

Due to the nature of the events that led to these specific suspensions we used a different process to detect the accounts than we normally use. Through our standard verification process to double-check the validity of each suspension, we have uncovered that, due to human error, some accounts were suspended incorrectly. The affected accounts will be reinstated forthwith.

The players whose accounts are being reinstated will receive further information, including on credit of playtime offered in respect of the issue, directly via email within the next 24 hours.

This incident relates only to accounts permanently suspended on the 10th of May 2006. If your account was permanently suspended on this date and you believe you should have received the email mentioned above but did not, then please contact us by following the instructions in the original suspension email and include your account information.

We're very sorry for the inconvenience and upset this error has caused. Please accept our sincerest apologies.

   I'm sorry but there's nothing that can be done about the accounts through the forums. The only department that will handle these cases is Account Administration (see http://www.wow-europe.com/en/support/).

If you did not receive an e-mail about a suspension on your game account, please make sure the e-mail address registered on your account is correct and make sure it doesn't catch e-mails from Blizzard in a spam filter.
