If you watch a game, it's fun. If you play at it, it's recreation. If you work at it, it's golf.

What -- Why -- When

For those concerned about the lore of the NEW ALLIANCE RACE, as revealed below, Metzen has posted an explanation(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general-en&t=1012401) of the problem and how he is working on expanding the lore to make it work. Apparently the new lore will not be changed, and will replace the old parts. Some people see this as a disaster. Me? An opportunity :)

Blizzard have already started working on some of the more ugly latency/disconnection problems. Vaneras is updating us(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general-en&t=1000766) with the current progress. Most of it seems to have been cleared up, but they are still investigating a separate problem that appears to be located outside their network. More updates as they come!

The preliminary talent calculators for Mages(http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/underdev/1p11/mage/talents.html) and Shamans(http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/underdev/1p11/shaman/talents.html) have now both been released. Check them out for some cool new changes and play around with your new spec for Patch 1.11. This indicates a PTR may be close. For more information on the non-talent changes, make sure you check Thundy's sticky(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-shaman-en&t=87927) for the Shamans and mine(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-mage-en&t=150585) for the Mages.

Migration Update

Scared you might leave your guild behind? I know I would be. Thanks to Thundy (http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general-en&t=975149) this shouldn't be a problem. Simply follow the instructions in that thread to send him an email and all your guild will be transferred, now that's service!

The Ahn'Qiraj gates will be open on the destination realms.

Aeus has posted a new Migration FAQ(http://forums-en.wow-europe.com/thread.aspx?fn=wow-general-en&t=977542) - Give it a read before you start moaning!

Remember that Blizzard can close down or redirect any migration at any time based on the population of the involved realms, so move fast! Also, the migration may be closed on wednesdays due to the extra load on the servers after maintenance. The migrations will be open only between 03:00 and 15:00 CEST (GMT/UTC +2) each day.

NEW ALLIANCE RACE? and other juicy E3 'Stuff'

Well, it is Draenei. It's be rumoured for a while but it's now been confirmed. But not any old Draenei, these magical space pallys are nothing like the corrupted ones we've seen so far, as you can see in this picture(http://wow-europe.com/shared/wow-com/images/burningcrusade/art/ss28.jpg)

Read their lore(http://wow-europe.com/en/burningcrusade/townhall/draenei.html) and be amazed!
The FAQ (http://wow-europe.com/en/burningcrusade/faq.html) has also been updated

The gameplay trailer at E3 was awesome. You can see the new races in all their glory and some great new zones. It can be downloaded, but requires DivX(http://www.divx.com/divx/) to play

Warcraft: The Movie

A World of Warcraft film is in production. I'm not a big fan of past game-to-film adaptations, but it does look very promising. It will be live action, not animated, so the characters will have to be cast. Read the Press Release(http://www.blizzard.com/press/060509.shtml) and decide for yourself. This will be a must see film. No ETA, sorry :P
