Please, for the love of god give us some concrete answers.

I will try my best :-)

Q u o t e:
Are we definitely teamed up with Spinebreaker?

This has not yet been decided, so this question I cannot yet answer. I suggest you keep an eye on this thread in the General forum for updates:

Q u o t e:
Are we definitely moving to a server with new hardware?

According to my knowledge, yes!

Q u o t e:
Are we definitely moving to a server with 0 population currently?

Yes!

Q u o t e:
Is our extisting hardware going to be upgraded within the next 2 months?

Hopefully yes, but I still know too little to provide any details at this point.

I will try to get more info on this as soon as possible though :-)

Okay, we're getting a migration, that's nice, BUT:

It is NOT to a fresh realm as Vaneras said. Sure it is an underpopulated realm, but not what we were promised. (And yes, I know target realms are subject to change, but why did Vaneras assure us an empty realm ?)

Thanks for the answers Vaneras but if you read this thread again maybe you could pass on one of our main concerns:

Spinebreaker is a 99% spanish server, it is also heavily overpopulated. Teaming us with Spinebreaker means we have a risk of ending up on a server consisting of 50% spanish.

Now I have no problem with spanish people, but looking at the way they "took over" Spinebreaker by simply ignoring everyone not speaking their language worries me.

I do not want to see a community as fine as Dragonmaw's destroyed because of language trouble.

So please, notify TechLead (or whoever handles migrations) of this concern, and if possible get some concrete answers back to us. The decision wether or not to migrate hinges on this one fact for a LOT of guilds, including mine.

Thanks in advance :)

Vaneras' reply:
We are aware of the language issues on the Spinebreaker realm, and we do not wish to have language problems of this nature spread to other realms, as this will surely make many players very frustrated.

As indicated before, it has not yet been decided if Dragonmaw is going to have the same destination realm for migration as Spinebreaker.

Well we got teamed up with Spinebreaker. I for one am quite interested to know how you are going to prevent language issues, which "will surely make many players very frustrated".

Note: this is not a flame whatsoever, I would just like some clear answers how this came to be, and if this could be changed/prevented.
Sylvanen drops his trousers and Moonfires you.

I am sorry about the miscommunication made by me in that thread in the Dragonmaw realm forum. The information that was available to me at that time was unfortunately not correct and I am very sorry about that.

Frostmane is a new realm that was opened for migration purposes, but since the previous migration to that realm was not that comprehensive, and that there still is room for additional population, it was decided that Dragonmaw and Spinebreaker should migrate to this realm in order to create a more healthy population on Frostmane.

As mentioned before we are aware of your concerns regarding being paired with Spinebreaker due to the language issue, but it is not expected that the migration from Spinebreaker will be very large, and in addition we anticipate that those migrating from that realm are players who wish to play on a realm, where communication in English is dominant.
Oh crap… I stepped in cheese!

Judging from the ammount of guilds moving from Dragonmaw, can you guarrantee that it will not become a problem with overpopulation?

No, not at this time.

Q u o t e:
Vaneras, could you please explain why we're not getting a fresh new realm like Daggerspine did(it was a mass exodus there as well from what I understand)?

At this moment I do not have sufficient data to answer this question, but I do know that it was estimated that Frostmane should be able to fulfill the needs of those who wish to migrate away from Dragonmaw.
