Subject: Tigole, will Magmadar be changed for horde? |

Currently, as has been stated before, the Magmadar fight is far more difficult for a group of horde than alliance due to the dwarf spell fear ward. The fight is by no means impossible, but overall the difficulty is greater than it should be for the 2nd boss in Molten Core.
The bosses in Molten Core tend to follow a progression, with Lucifron being easier and ending with the more difficult bosses like Majordomo. Some exceptions are there, of course, like Gehennas. But since Magmadar is required to progress in the zone, he should be considered differently.
Currently, in my opinion, Magmadar is harder than several of the subsequent fights such as Garr, and is out of place.
Even simply switching Magmadar with someone like Baron Geddon would make it easier for Horde to complete Molten core, as it is now, many Horde guilds get stuck at Magmadar for large periods of time learning the encounter.
Another alternative would be allowing frenzy to be purgable.

At this time, we have no plans on changing the Magmadar encounter.
