(JUST A WARNING: THIS ISN'T REALLY A MEANINGFUL POST, JUST SOMETHNG I THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE WITH MY FELLOW DRUIDS)
Ok, so this is a little rant about my last trip to UBRS. 2 guildies and myself wanted to run UBRS and joined with a guild run who just so happened to need 3 people. It was destined to happen!
I was so mistaken...
2 wipes before rend should have been a hint of things to come and we shoulda have left the group, but we decided to give it one more chance.
And it worked out well, no more wipes... until drak. This is the part of the story in which i rant and rave about how no one listens to the druid who has 9 man'd drak before (that druid being me). The following conversation actually happened:
Me (whisper hunter): you know how to kite drak?
Hunter (whisper me): No, but ive seen it done.
Me (whisper back): OK, well, ill explain it to you real quick. Distract or arcane shot him after i pull an add with sleep. Go back to the beasts cave and FD. Tell us when he is coming back.
Hunter (whisper back): ok, thanks.
Me (to raid): Ok yall. here's whats gunna happen. I am going to sleep pull the 59 leet, so the sleep lasts longer. The hunter will kite drak, and yall will FF on the 60 add. It's as simple as that, i have never wiped using this strat. Everyone got it?
Raid Leader: Ok everyone listen up. Lock is going to chain fear one add after the hunter pulls drak, everyone else FF on the other add.
Guildie 1 (in guild chat): uhhhh, did they just ignore what u just said
Guildie 2 (in guild chat): we are going to wipe
Me (in guild chat): Yeah, they resist fear too much, no way do we make it out alive
Guildie 2 (to raid): ya know the druid can chain sleep and the dragon will always be asleep as opposed to the fear getting resisted.
Raid leader: Ok, everyone ready?
Me: WAIT! fear gets resisted too much. Let me sleep!
Raid Leader: Ok, Hunter shoot drak.
Me (whisper hunter): if you dont want to wipe, you wont make that shot
Hunter shoots...
Me (in guild chat): We're screwed...
Hilarity ensued:
I didnt move for a couple seconds due to the shock value of what just happened, so i was able to see exactly where we went wrong.
The hunter pulled and drak started to chase him. The priest bubbled the hunter and drak pulled a 180 with rage in his eye and ran torward the priest. I, still in disbelief, woke up and started to starfire spam the heck outa drak and waited till he attacked me. I popped into cat form and sprinted. I looked behind me and saw that i was being chased by not only drak but the add that was supposed to be feared, but luckily, the add ran back in the room. Well, i am dead, i thought to myself... but maybe they can take out the two adds before drak returns.
Oh, how wrong i was. Drak was still following me as i ran back to rend's room. I saw this in the chat as i was running:
Raid member: Druid sleep him, he is resisting my fear.
Me: I cant, i am kiting drak right now.
Raid member: well get back here and sleep this guy.
Me: ummmm, sorry, i cant... i am kiting drak right now into rend's room.
Raid leader: Ok guys the next add. take him down.
At this point i think to myself. Ok, we are fine, they just killed one add, and the next one is about to go down. So, i shift bear and try and run past drak hoping that my 6500 hp would give me enough time to get past him and head back to the room without dying. LOL. i didnt stand a chance; so i inform the raid that drak is on his way back. So i am lying dead, watching the chat.
Raid leader: No, FF on the other add! Keep fearing the first add.
Guildie 1 (whisper): this is not going well
Me (whisper back): u didnt take down the first add yet?
Guildie 1: Nope, he is chain fearing the adds and he keeps switching the add that he fears.
Me: ......
Me (to raid): Dont loot drak if/when we down him until i am res'd i am in rend's room
Raid leader: Ok, everyone take the wipe. We will try again.
Me: i hope someone is SS'd
Raid leader: Yeah, the priest is
Me: are you sure, i dont see the SS buff
Warlock: I didnt give anyone SS cuz the cooldown was still up.
Me: ... ok... ill have to stealth back and res everyone, so NO ONE ENTER INSTANCE
Raid Leader: OK
So, at this point i am upset and want to leave so bad, but with the wildheart vest sooo close, i couldnt justify leaving. So i stealth back to the bodies and the raid leader said, "ok everyone we have to go to MC now, just take the res sickness and head over to MC."
Me: wait, i am about to res you all...
Then, without a chance for me to say anything else, 7 people have res sickness debuff by their names now. I have an open jaw just sitting at my laptop. What a joke...
Well, that's my story of kiting drak, hope yall enjoyed. I had to vent somehow, so i chose the druid forums to do so. If any of yall have stories like this or ones where no one listens to you, id love to read em!

For all the raiding I've done against the casual instancing I've taken part in, I've never seen a Drakkisath fight go half so smoothly as most Nefarian fights - even when the Drakkisath fights were formed of a subset of the people in the Nefarian fight.
Cooperation is key, and half the raid forgot that key in the bank.[ post edited by Coreiel ]
Even yet, I have so many miles to go.
