Subject: Tauren, Night Elves, and the Dividing Lore
Well, tauren and night elf druids should, according to lore, get along.

However in practical terms within the game, we are not able to. I am not about to refuse to go on a Cairne raid to Thunderbluff with my friends and engage in world PVP which is so amazingly fun. I could never turn that opportunity down.

However, the problem is the lore. I sort of engaged myself in a little debate with a Tauren about it but I'm still unsure of myself.

I chose an RP server because I like living within the confines of a set story-- otherwise it takes some of the realism element out of the game. That element is what I enjoy and I feel it really compliments the dungeons, quests, and raids we go on. I don't doubt my decision for a moment.

However, I'd like to know a little more about the night elf / tauren conflict and how other lore-minded druids have dealt with this... on both sides.

My justification I used was, "By aiding my allies in the alliance I am sending a message to Cairne to withdraw his support for the Horde as a service for the druids of the earthmother."

Eh, shallow excuse.. but it was all I could think up.

Hard being in a different faction than your brothers.
For Cenarius!

Cairne ain't a druid. ;) Last I checked, Moonglade was held by the Cenarion Circle, not Thunder Bluff.

Where's the problem again?
You cannot divide by Coreiel.
