Subject: Recruit a Friend
A quick question here. When I 'recruit a friend' do they need to have access to the disks and the mail just contains a code? Or is it a download off of the site? I have a friend in TX that wants to try the game but being across country, of course she can't use my disks. Thanks in advance. :-)
Cake or death?

Not to worry, Laraisis; it should be possible for your friend to download the World of Warcraft Game Client from the following location: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/downloads/wowclient-download.html

I hope this helps! More information about the Recruit-A-Friend Program can be found in the FAQ, which is located here:
