Hello, I am posting from a friends account at the moment, but heres the story. Yesterday, my friend got my password, so I changed it in a hurry, now, when I did this, I also forgot what I had made it. I didn't think much of it, after all, I have a secret question right? Well, I forgot it too, (short term memory ftw?), so Blizzard, or anyone else, can you please help? I can prove full ownership of this account, just please, help!

Alternatively if you need the answer to your Secret Question and can't remember it, there is indeed an option available to you in order to retrieve the answer. On the World of Warcraft website there is a page detailing how you would go about this. This can be found at:

This page specifies that you send us a photocopy of your government issued identification such as a drivers license or passport. The reason this is done is to protect the security of your account. It would be extremely dangerous to your account's security to have to have other people able to easily obtain this piece of information.
If the reason you need the answer to your secret question is for a Paid Character Transfer you may wish to wait. In the near future we plan to implement an updated version of the website interface for the character transfer service. This upcoming version should no longer require the use of the answer to the Secret Question for characters whose transfers do not leave the account. Only account-account transfers will still require this Secret Question information.
