Tried to do a search to no avail so I am sure I will be asking a question that has been answered numerous times before. Is there a way to be shown as offline to people on your friend's list while still online?

I'm not sure why you would want to hide your current status from your friends, Hooey, but I'm afraid that such a functionality does not currently exist; if you believe that Azeroth would be a better place were such a feature available, I believe you shall find our Suggestions Forum to be the most valuable outlet for your ideas.
