Subject: Black Code on Character - No Drops |

Either I have had some extremely bad luck, which shouldn't exist in a computer coded world, or my expectations are too high or a "Black Code" has been assigned to my character.
I haven't seen a blue, much less a purple, drop in the past 5 weeks. I have been playing on average of 5 hours a day and more on the weekends. Prior to 5 weeks ago I would see at least one blue drop a week. I have been playing since launch of WOW and only have seen two purples the entire time.
Is this normal, the past 5 weeks of no drops? Even the few greens have been unusable for me and not sellable on the AH it seems. It just isn't fun killing and skinning. Please let me know if this is what others are experiencing or am I seeing something that is unusual.

I have been playing since early Beta, and I have only seen two Purples drop, and a dozen or so Blue drops outside of instances.
The mad Murloc...
