Subject: battlegrounds' queues need to be a priority
Currently there are servers with poorly balanced alliance vs. horde populations. This leads to excessive wait times for battlegrounds which stifles the system. I don't have access to an accurate population chart, but I would guess that the _overall_ horde to alliance ratio is fairly well balanced.

If that last assertion is incorrect, then the following suggestion is mute.

After ZG is released in 1.7, I think it would be very wise of Blizzard to develop a way to create cross-server battleground instances. It seems the most thorough way to fix the problems which are occuring, and would be a lasting solution. I realize that the technology and development demands would be intensive for this, but I also believe that for anyone who enjoys PVP it would be very worthwhile. I know you guys have the talent and skill to do this, and I definitely think it is worth the effort.
Proof by intimidation: "TRIVIAL."

Your solution is something we're definitely considering, but requires quite a bit of backend work to make it function. In the meantime, we are introducing a system that should promote the Battlegrounds a bit more in 1.7. :)

Q u o t e:
BTW Caydiem, last we heard Tigole said that it wasn't possible given the current server architecture.

But from your wording, it seems like you guys are actually taking the steps in order to implement this? Am I correct here that it WILL be done eventually?? Or am I reading too much into your comments?

I'm saying it's something we've been considering, Tyrrael. If we were taking further steps, it would be something we were working on. :P
