Subject: Do people actually roll on PvP servers ? |

I've just made this character to check if there's any point in rolling on a "recommended" PvP realm and it looks kind of dead, compared to PvE realms like Killrog or Aerie Peak. I don't really care about OMFG LEVEL 60 GANKERS but I also don't like the idea of being one of 10 low level ppl on the whole server.
So, is there a point in rolling a PvP character right now ? Because if there isn't maybe Blizz should consider merging some of the PvP realms or stating clearly that no new realms are coming, so the "GIEB NEW SERVER BLIZZ" kiddies would STFU and start playing or go and quit...

Maybe they roll, but they seem to be spread out over too many realms. There are currently 6 PvP realms with recommended tag, compared to 2 recommended PvE realms and as far as I know the number of both PvP and PvE is about the same.
So my point is, shouldn't Blizzard either merge some of them or reduce the number of recommended ones to encourage more people to roll on a single server ?
There are 26 PvE realms, and 58 PvP realms.
It's an excellent point though, and the reason we reduced the number of recommended PvP realms from about 10 to 6. We'll consider reducing it further, but not this week.
